Our 21-Day Corporate Fast is Jan 3-23.  

A Message from Pastor David Foster

We are asking for all Faith City Partners to join us on this 21-Day Fast.

We are expecting God to do some BIG, BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL things for us.  In order for Him to do so, it will take fasting and praying.  For the scripture tells us that some things only come by fasting and praying.

During the 21 days of fasting and praying, I ask that you join me by praying for:

• The Grand Opening
• For the lost to come to our new facility and be impacted with the Word
• That God will save souls
• The effectiveness as a ministry to fulfill the mission to Love, Reach and Grow People
• The leadership of this ministry
• Spiritual and natural families
• Married and Singles of this ministry
• Our youth of this ministry
• Our nation

I am encouraging everyone to fast and pray with me for all 21 days. I know it will be a spiritual battle against the flesh but let’s show God that we are willing to sacrifice to get everything that God has in store for Faith City.

As you fast and pray for the Grand Opening:

1. Pray for the power of God to fall at every service.
2. Pray for those God wants you to invite.
3. Pray for each and every partner of Faith City Church.
4. Pray like you never have before.  Draw a circle around you and ask God to move in the circle. Ask the Lord to make you whatever He wants so He can use you.
5. Pray for Faith City leadership staff.

These are the food related guidelines for the fast

Week 1 | Jan 3-9 – During this time for the first week, we will abstain from all meats.
Week 2 | Jan 10-16 – The second week, we will abstain from all sugar (includes raw sugar, honey, syrups, molasses, agave, stevia, cane juice and sugary drinks).
Week 3 | Jan 17-23 – The third week, we will abstain from all breads, pastas, tortillas, rice, and popcorn.

Together we can make a BIG difference in the community and in the lives that God will send to Faith City.

I love you and fully trust that we will finish strong during this 21-day of fasting and praying.
